on procrastination...

just a few photos to share before i buckle down to do some serious sewing/gluing/soldering to finish up what i am working on for SIGGRAPH - so that i do not have to indenture my soul or firstborn to the necessary evil that is fedex uber priority. (yeah, i know i will anyway, i have effects to play with tonight...and we all know what goes on wednesday...) i'm a little sad to not be attending this year, but that will be rectified by being a very active participant next year, when the conference moves to thee ol' stomping ground, Boston. (Boston kids, i will be enlisting your help!)

a beautiful iris:



i'm SO surprised at how long these lasted up here in the penthouse hotbox - cheese literally melted at midnight of its own volition, no help of the sun or microwaves. they're just starting to shrivel a bit today, but even a little wrinky, i still find them captivating. irises were always a favorite of mine growing up. i do indeed love receiving flowers. :)
