(rock) lobsters

Friday night started off with another installment of dethlab at Pure Detroit Design Lab for Samantha Bullock's opening.



Sam has a nice little review. We've decided that we don't play really good records really badly anymore. i'm not sure yet what we do, but we don't suck so badly and sure have one hell of a lot of fun doing it. ;) After about a three hour set, arms were twisted to head over to the fine establishment known as City Club, where much gothic interpritive dance ensued, big surprise there. there were also loud rantings upon how a certain synthpop band killed industrial music and other inflammatory remarks and much falling. it is a wonder we walked out of there sans posteriors in slings.

i'm a good cook at 4:30am. ;)

And Saturday was dedicated to the crustasean sensation known as lobsterfest at Les Infants Terribles. (all the really weird lobsters come out on a full moon.) costumes were excellent, mike servito wowed everyone with a crazy long set, and much fun was had by all. it seemed evern better than usual if that can be possible.

Ridiculous doesn't even begin to describe. Barbara also made the best video i've ever seen, so aptly characaturing the dorkwavers. Afterpartying was also excellent, teardown the following day went smoothly, and now i'm ready to eat some well cooked bottomfeeders.
