Undercover Fall 2006

It's good to know that dark, darker and darkest are still de rigeur for Fall 2006.



Undercover runway review on Style.com. Jun Takahashi won my heart with this collection. This has to be my favorite - with prison-esque hoods, pieced together straps - it evokes a very elegant restraint.

Viktor and Rolf also conceals the models faces with woven screens that resemble fencing masks.

Gaultier, whom I really haven't been impressed with in years, ornaments the models with elizabethan collars, similarly dressed dogs and cats, and dolls being held by the hair. The entire collection isn't my favorite, but some of the pieces on especially dead looking models are quire stunning and excellently weird!
