So the first thing I was supposed to do this morning was go down to RJ's Meat Shoppe in Gratiot Central Market to discuss potential sponsorship/advertising/donation for this forthcoming shoot - I've befreinded a few people who work there from getting supplies for my "meat shoots" - they even have my work hanging up behind the counter.
The owners were just found dead this morning, burutally beaten and murdered in their garage, allegedly by someone whom they know, it was not a random murder. This so sucks. I don't know if I had ever personally met with them, but it was a family run business and I go in there once every week or two, they know me by name and they always ask me what I'm working on and give me suggestions about what bizarre things to possibly use. Sweetest family ever. :(
