sundaying.

the show at Network Gallery i spoke of a while back has made its way to the front of the Arts section in the MetroTimes this week - Homes that heal: Architecture and design embrace wind, water and waste in Cranbrook show - good to see coverage of a really excellent show and on a topic i am very passionate about. and i took the pictures. ;)

seeing Brazil for the first time on the big screen last night was a mindf*** of the highest order. so good. i can't believe i missed out on something that seems to already be such a part of my aesthetic yet had no clue about it at all. i'm thinking i really have to evaluate my typical stance of most films which has always been that they are a little too time consuming for what you get out of them - i think i'm about 1000 times wrong here. as long as i am selective over what i bother to plunk down and see...man i need remedial film watching school, i am cinematically impaired.

off to record time in a bit as there are a few other selections i'm lusting after and it is my last chance before Bandwidth on friday since i'm shooting all day monday. and on the record playing bit, don't forget to come on out to interstate tonight, i hear there is quite a little list of co-conspirators forming.
