Sadly Blogger didn't seem to be working for me yesterday, so instead of being an announcement, this is a little more of an archive instead. Meh! Anyway, I was honored to be brought in among some really fantastic designers and hopefully some of you had the opportunity to attend!
Austin’s hottest lingerie designer debuts her new intimates’ line with exciting guests for Austin Fashion Week.
[Austin], [TX],[7/15/09] – Megan Summerville, Texas Next Top Designer 2009, will share an intimate evening featuring the her lingerie line and new menswear collection at Qua of Austin at 11 pm CST (213 W 4th St # 100). Special guests include; benson of Mange la Mode, Bethany Shorb of the Cyberoptix Tie Lab and a few other surprises!
Megan Summerville lingerie is an evolving refinement of foundation wear. From silk bras and firm compression wear, Megan shows the soft elegance of true underpinnings. Fresh from her Win at Dallas' Texas Next Top Designer; this is Megan's first show in her hometown since winning the award. Ms. Summerville will be joined by Mange la Mode Principal Designer, benson. Mange la Mode designed the gowns used in Swarovski Crystals international advertising campaign and has been featured in Harper’s Bazaar and French Vogue. Bethany Shorb’s Tie Lab (eco friendly designer ties) is often featured in editorials all over the globe.
