more nostalgia (and birds)

last night i found a box with some old prints, rather coincidentally about the same time period i was speaking of a few posts back. i didn't find the exact shot i was looking for, but this was taken about six years ago, while still in Boston, when i found two headless sparrows on the street. they were still warm. of course, i picked them up and took them back to the studio. this set is so goth it hurts. i think at that time i really wanted to be Floria Sigismondi when i grew up. well, i'm still not grown up nor am i Floria, but I sure have had a good time getting there. i did another series with little wooden bald doll heads rather than these plastic ones that i like a lot better, i'm sure the prints are somewhere.
