Treasures.

Presenting Bettie Page - At Home. no. 5. Published by Burmel Pub, Co. in NYC, NY in the mid 1950s. And Presenting Brandee Kayse, No. 8 Circa 1955. "Fabulous 32 page Burmel Publishing digest mag devoted to this beautiful raven tressed pin-up in all her naked glory."

!!!! So my new best friend at the local junk shop threw these in with my measly little uniform purchase (outit for SASS on Saturday night - can we say authentic WWII sailor fun? He even taught me how to properly tie the scarf.) Yay! I can't belive I have original Betty Page pr0n and for free...a quick googling just to find a cover image and I think I'm going to pick up the rest of the Presenting series that were a whopping two dollars each. (Why didn't I do that anyway...I guess I didn't want this sweet old man thinking I was some total pervert. Oops...) Well he called them "self help books" so I probably shouldn't turn so red. Heh. Anyway, vintage smut rules! Plus these are in absolutely perfect condition (not like the ones pictured) and there were packets of original naughty black and white photos from the 40's/50's. I think I'm about to go on a little scanning spree, these are some of the best vintage fetish outfits I've ever seen, even with knee-high leather stiletto ballet boots. They didn't screw around then... Anyway...

On the matter of OMGcoolshit - I found an absurdly plumed Knights of Columbus Masonic hat for six bucks. Seriously, Detroit has the best junk/prop shops in the whole world, and my "prop room" is getting really out of hand.

Back to work...had to gloat for a second, I adore finding awesome old stuff.
